Andrew James is a family business, a fast-growing online retailer, founded by his cousins Andrew and James in 2005, hence its name! Andrew James specializes in kitchen equipment and gadgets. He also provides convenience items and accessories for families, gardens and even pets. Andrew James currently stocks about 500 products, and their product range has been growing. In 2005, ambitious cousins Andrew Thompson and James Barker had a family cooking-based business plan. It all started with a dinner at the James'house, where guests like to use a roulette grill bought in Germany. Despite its popularity in Europe, it is difficult for dinner guests to find the same grill in Britain. Cousins saw an opportunity, found an international supplier, ordered 3000 grills in the first batch, and Andrew James was born. Since our existing offices are running out, Andrew James has purchased two new office buildings and set up a new headquarters in Sheham, Durham County. The warehouse has an area of up to 125,000 square feet and will be extensively renovated to install the latest warehousing technology. Neighbouring offices will also be redecorated, including product testing facilities, live photography and video studios, creative meeting spaces and modern open workspaces.
