About Aspinall Foundation

The ASPIALALL Foundation, a world-class conservation charity, was founded in 1984 to raise captive animals to protected wilderness areas and preserve their Aboriginal habitats. The ASPIALL Foundation manages animal protection projects in Congo, Gabon, Java and Madagascar and provides financial support for other animal protection programs around the world, including India and Cambodia. Now, for more than 30 years, the foundation has been known to return captive breeding animals to protected wilderness areas and protected areas around the world. Its two award-winning wildlife parks, Howletts near Canterbury and Port Limne near Ashford, work closely with the ASPIALL Foundation and are therefore very different from traditional zoos.
