In 2004, the Kilter Association began selling spore powder. The founder never intended to sell kilts, but as his hobby evolved into a legitimate business, everything changed. It started with only Sporan and expanded to kiln belts and buckles, then Sergeant Dubs. Soon after, the founder began selling a full set of plaid skirts. Business is developing into an impressive business. Suddenly, his bedroom is full of sporozoites and there is little room for movement. It's time to expand. He got help from a friend and rented a small storage room. Over the years, their ranks have grown and they have taken over ever-larger warehouses and become one of the largest plaid skirt shops in the world. They want to build a kilt community for people like them. A community celebrating the traditional and modern style of skirts. If they start with a clean slate, they can do it well. They have built a very great team - small but powerful, creative, and committed to doing something different. Outside the warehouse in Rhys, Edinburgh, they are constantly updating and improving their product line to keep up with your ever-changing style, while always respecting Scottish traditions.
