About Royal Horticultural Society

RHS Garden provides a comprehensive education program for those who want to qualify and experience before entering the horticulture industry. The activities of the Royal Horticultural Society focus on providing real benefits to all those involved in British horticulture and gardening and achieving our strategic objectives. The Royal Horticultural Society has four gardens in Britain: Wesley Garden in Surrey, Hallocark Garden in North Yorkshire, Hyde Manor in Essex and Rosmore Garden in Devonshire. In 2012/13, we received more than 176 million visitors. We also work with more than 195 partner gardens to provide free use for members at different times of the year. Through our gardens, we help gardeners in Britain and abroad to provide examples of different plant collections, innovative and attractive planting designs and good gardening practices. They all hold regular meetings, demonstrations and walks.
We hold inspiring flower exhibitions in Chelsea, Hampton Palace and Tatton Park, and seasonal exhibitions in London's Royal Gardens and Social Hall. Collaborative exhibitions include the Royal Society of Horticulture Spring Exhibition in Cardiff (co-organized with the Cardiff Council), and we help organize Malvine Spring and Autumn Horticultural Exhibition (co-organized with the Three County Agricultural Associations).
This study aims to share practical knowledge and stimulate interest in plants and horticulture among people of all ages and abilities. We offer a series of certificates, ranging from first-class certificates to well-known master of horticulture. For future gardeners, we will carry out school gardening campaign to encourage as many children as possible to grow up. More than 18,000 schools participated in the campaign. We also manage grants to support plant research, exploration and conferences around the world.
