About Wimdu

Wimdu was founded in March 2011. Arne Blackwenn and Hinrich Dreiling are two close friends who successfully co-founded two companies before Wimdu was founded. Increasingly dissatisfied with expensive anonymous hotels, they decided to create Wimdu, a company that combines technical know-how, passion for travel and close attention to users'personal needs. By June 2011, Wimdu had become the world's second largest private space community market. By 2012, the situation really began to improve, and the expanded workforce welcomed the first supply plans. This continued until 2013, marking the first large-scale supply integration of Wimdu Longcheng Boiler. However, the most exciting achievement of 2013 was the launch of the first television marketing campaign in Germany. At the end of 2014, Blacken and Dreyling decided to resign as CEO of Windu Lumberg and join the board. Arne Kahlke and Soren Kress and the CEO's responsibilities were voluntarily transferred in early 2015. In the meantime, Wimdu has also made some structural changes, set up a new office in Berlin and transferred its customer support team to Lisbon. The television market has expanded this year, and its advertisements are now aired in Spain, Italy and Germany.
